Upon the recommendation of University of ÉäÒùʪ-Columbia Chancellor Brady J. Deaton and endorsement of University of ÉäÒùʪ President Elson S. Floyd, the UM Board of ÉäÒùʪ today approved a resolution to name the new basketball arena at the University of ÉäÒùʪ-Columbia "Mizzou Arena," effective immediately.
