COLUMBIA, Mo. — Today, ����ʪ University of Science and Technology received the largest single gift in the history of ����ʪ higher education as Fred and June Kummer to a foundation that will support ����ʪ S&T.

“We are truly overwhelmed by Mr. and Mrs. Kummer’s generosity and vision for ����ʪ S&T; I don’t even have the words to express our gratitude,” said Julia Brncic, chair of the University of ����ʪ Board of ����ʪ. “This will be transformational for ����ʪ S&T and higher education in our state. This gift will advance opportunities for students, research, communities and ����ʪ citizens for generations to come.”

“This is a tremendous gift for higher education and economic development in ����ʪ,” said Mun Choi, president of the University of ����ʪ System. “I’m grateful to Fred and June Kummer for their confidence in Chancellor Dehghani to lead the transformation at S&T. I want to commend Chancellor Dehghani for his visionary leadership and persistence.”
